How to make Rainbow Poshto



If you are in love with the classic Bengali dish Aloo Poshto, you will surely fall in for this healthier version which is filled with the goodness of vegetables. If your are on a rainbow diet, this is a must try side dish recipe.




INGREDIENTS:
37 gm poppy seeds
2 red chilli
50 gm cauliflower
30 gm courgettes
30 gm bean green
60 gm diced sweet potato
1 tablespoon canola oil/ rapeseed oil
60 ml water
2 green chilli
50 gm broccoli
60 gm long aubergines
30 gm spinach
40 gm pumpkin
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon onion seeds

How to make Rainbow Poshto
Step 1
Soak the poppy seeds in a little water for half an hour and grind to a smooth paste with the green chillies. Cut the broad beans, aubergine and courgette into fingers.
Step 2
Chop broccoli, cauliflower, green beans and pumpkin into small pieces. Heat the oil in a pan and add the onion seeds and red chillies.
Step 3
Saute for one minute or until the onion seeds turn fragrant. Add the turmeric powder and all the vegetables and saute for another 4 minutes.
Step 4
Add the poppy seed paste, all vegetables and the water to the pan and cook over a medium heat until the water evaporates and the vegetables are cooked (keep covered

INGREDIENTS

1 egg yolk
2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoon chocolate sauce
3/4 cup full cream milk
2/3 cup all purpose flour
2 tablespoon melted butter
2 tablespoon icing sugar
2 beaten egg whites

How to make Chocolate Waffles
Step 1
For making this delicious recipe, take a deep mixing bowl and combine egg yolk, milk, all purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder along with butter. Mix well until smooth.
Step 2
Now, beat the egg white until stiff peaks form and then add the brown sugar to it and mix well.
Step 3
In the meantime, heat a waffle maker and pour the batter onto the waffle iron structure.
Step 4
Bake it for 20-25 minutes. Allow it to rest for a while when baked and then remove.
